Job description:
Design, analysis, development and installation of control systems on the first and the second level of control for industrial machines on sawmills.

Your main task will be:
- Receive tasks for programming PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) devices from Service Manager and Project Manager.
- Installing these tasks (program changes or new programs) in PLC devices. Contact the requestors if something is unclear or incomplete.
- Create documentation of existing PLC programs.
- Maintain documentation of every implemented change and addition.
- Implement and test PLC programs on sites during rollout.
- Participate in PLOS development planning.


Skills:
Mandatory skills:
- experience with Siemens programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- SIMATIC S7-300 and S7-400 programming in languages STL, LAD and FBD experiences with industrial grade production systems, multi CPU/CPU-PC SCADA systems.
- knowledge of programming environment SIMATIC STEP7 (Simatic Manager, HW configuration, STL/LAD/FBD)
- ability to read electro-technical documentation
- to have practice with PLC programming (Siemens is prefered; other ones e.g. Allan Bradley, etc. have also value)
- willingness of spending up to 6 months of the year on business trips abroad (business trips are short, they usually last from 1 up to 2 weeks)
- fluent English (This is not negotiable.)

Skills, which would be beneficial for the job:
- knowledge of object oriented programming and at least one of the following programming languages – Visual Basic 2005 (or higher), C#, C++, Delphi
- knowledge of .NET 2.0 or higher
- knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or higher
- knowledge of databases and SQL
- knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 or higher
